The Tarangire River is the only permanent water source in the region, drawing thousands of animals including lions, leopards, and over 500 species of birds. The landscape, dotted with thousand-year-old Baobab trees, is unlike anywhere else in the world.

Your Day Itinerary

06:30 AM

Morning Departure

Transfer from your hotel to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha. Your professional guide will meet you with a 4x4 safari Jeep for the drive to Tarangire.

10:00 AM

Into the Land of Giants

Enter the park and begin your game drive. We head straight for the riverbanks to find large elephant families cooling off in the mud and dust.

01:00 PM

Bush Lunch with a View

Enjoy a hot lunch at a scenic picnic site overlooking the river, keeping an eye out for wildlife visiting the water below.

05:30 PM

Return to Zanzibar

Drive back to the airport for your flight home. You will arrive in Zanzibar in time for a relaxing dinner at your resort.
