Morning: "Karibu Zanzibar!" Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) or the Ferry Terminal, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and a quick refresh.
Afternoon: Embark on a guided walking tour through the labyrinthine streets of Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will discover the rich history of the island, visiting the Sultan's Palace, the Old Fort, the poignant Slave Market, and marveling at the famous brass-studded wooden doors.
Evening: Enjoy a free evening. We highly recommend visiting the Forodhani Gardens night market to sample local Swahili street food and Zanzibar pizzas.
Full Day: Prepare for a day of pure tropical bliss. We pick you up from your hotel and drive to the village of Fumba to board a traditional wooden dhow. Set sail into the Menai Bay Conservation Area, looking out for playful bottlenose dolphins.
You will drop anchor at a stunning coral reef for guided snorkeling, then head to a pristine white sandbank to relax and enjoy tropical fruits. For lunch, feast on a massive Swahili seafood barbecue including grilled fish, slipper lobster, calamari, and rice, served on Kwale Island. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
Morning: After checking out of your hotel, our guide will drive you to a local spice plantation. Discover why Zanzibar is known worldwide as the "Spice Island." You'll learn how cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, and cinnamon are cultivated, and have the chance to taste, smell, and buy fresh, organic spices directly from the farmers.
Afternoon: After the tour, we provide a private transfer back to the Airport or Ferry Terminal for your departure, ensuring you leave with fantastic memories of Tanzania.
